Shocks come in waves,
eyes locked in an intimate embrace.
Our hearts convulse to the rhythm
of lovers struck by lightning;
a current too wild to name.

This pull between us,
a live wire humming under skin,
threatens to burn through
the fragile fabric of reality.

Static Embrace

electricity pulsing through my skin
in the aftermath of our love.
My mind thunders with the storm
of our desires; lightning thoughts,
restless and bright,
refusing to fade.

The energy our love generates
could light a thousand cities,
power a million dams,
and rival the magnetic pull of the sun.
